Ms. Jacqueline Rockman has joined Claire and Emanuel G. Rosenblatt High School as its full-time college counselor. Ms. Rockman brings a wealth of experience in college counseling. She most recently directed the College Guidance Program at a large, academically rigorous Jewish High School in New York City. She maintains an active relationship with college admissions offices across the country, in part due to her previous service as a college admissions officer at both Brandeis University and Binghamton University NY. She is also a current leader of the Jewish Schools and Students Special Interest Group, an advocacy, support and professional development assembly within the National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC). All of these experiences will allow Ms. Rockman to build the department already developed by International College Counselors into an even more comprehensive and highly successful college counseling program.
Ms. Rockman’s roots are in New York but she has a long history in South Florida with much of her extended family; however, she is an avid New England football fan (Go Pats!). When she is not working with the Rosenblatt students and families, Ms. Rockman enjoys reading, travel, home improvement projects, and spending time with her friends and family. She and her husband also love to play with their adorable rescue Beagle and laugh at the antics of their two lovable felines.
