Maintaining a consistent level of excellence requires substantial financial resources beyond those received from tuition. A tradition of celebration and support for Donna Klein Jewish Academy, the annual Benefit Auction event is attended by over 300 community leaders, business owners, and families. The gala is our largest fund-raiser of the year, with proceeds directly benefiting students through scholarships and programs.
For the past 23 years we have celebrated Grandparent’s and Special Friends’ Day, which was designed to strengthen the bond between generations of families and friends. DKJA’s wish for this special day is for our grandparents and special friends to appreciate how unique they are and that they provide the continuity, traditions, and the history our children must know to become knowledgeable Jews as they become young adults. Intergenerational ties and traditions are a vital part of Jewish education, and Grandparents’ and Special Friends’ Day exemplifies how DKJA supports and recognizes this aspect of our students’ lives while strengthening the connection between school and families.
DKJA continually seeks ways to involve members of our community in friend raising and fundraising events. Throughout the year, DKJA holds friend raising and fundraising events to appeal to all different members of our community.
