AP Studio Art - Drawing and 2-D Design

The AP Studio Art Course in Drawing and 2-D Design are designed for students who are seriously interested in the practical experience of art. These courses involve a high level of commitment and energy. Students are expected to work beyond scheduled class time. AP Studio Art students must have at least one year of training in art and must be in their Junior or Senior year. AP Studio Art is not a course based on a written examination; instead students submit portfolios for evaluation at the end of the school year to the College Board and the Advanced Placement Program.
AP Studio Art students will create 24 works to prepare a portfolio consisting of 3 individual sections: Quality, Concentration and Breadth.
