Welcome to Donna Klein Jewish Academy!
While visiting our website — a digital “road map” of our school — I hope you’ll experience a sense of not only what our K-12 school offers our students, families and community, but also why DKJA is so special. I hope you will see for yourself that DKJA is the ideal place to be for a diverse, challenging general and Judaic studies curriculum. Whether it’s in our new, state-of-the-art Makerspace and video studio, in our beautiful and welcoming high-tech Prayer Space, in our Shomrei HaAdamah “Guardians of the Earth” Garden, in our unique Ceramics Studio, or in the classroom setting, you will see learning at its finest. Science, Technology, Engineering the Arts and Math (STEAM) programming is infused in the innovative educational environment that makes us proud every day. There truly is “something for everyone” at DKJA.
DKJA is a renowned leadership academy and is the ONLY Jewish Day School in the world recognized as a FranklinCovey Leader In Me LIGHTHOUSE SCHOOL. As such, DKJA is an international role model, emulated by schools globally.
The Anti-Defamation League has honored DKJA as a NO PLACE FOR HATE partner school, and students in grades 6 through 12 serve as role models and ambassadors for peers both at DKJA and in the community.
Endless opportunities for experiential education make learning fun, and unique. Jewish values and character development are infused into daily lessons. We strive to incorporate a culture of kindness throughout. In fact, instilling kindness is so prevalent, that for the second year in a row, it’s become our school theme: Kindness 2.0 — Lev Tov (A Kind Heart).
DKJA’s academic excellence would not be possible without our school’s passionate and talented faculty and dedicated administrative team. Our leadership and academic professionals wholeheartedly believe in, and are dedicated to, building our community, and ensuring that today’s students are prepared to be tomorrow’s leaders.
Welcome to the beginning of one of life’s greatest journeys, where teaching and learning know no bounds…
