On Friday March 13th, DKJA joined in the fourth annual national Digital Learning Day. While it is apparent that our students experience technology each and every day in and out of school, this was a day dedicated to highlighting all the amazing educational technology integration within the classrooms. By creating an atmosphere where students become creators of digital media, think critically and practice collaboration, they learn the essential skills which will prepare them for their successful future as 21st century citizens of the world.
With so many new types of digital devices, educational software, and mobile apps continuously developed, the faculty at DKJA constantly work diligently to keep up with the latest and greatest advancements in educational technology. In many classrooms at DKJA, educators are doing some pretty amazing things with technology. Digital Learning Day was started as a way to actively spread innovative practices nationwide, to showcase the amazing technology that students are being exposed to. Below you can see evidence to some, but far from all, of the technologies being used at DKJA.
