Welcome to the High School at Donna Klein Jewish Academy. As you navigate our website, you will learn that we are a school dedicated to providing an outstanding academic experience within an environment supportive of Jewish values and identity. One of our greatest advantages is that we offer small classes which allow teachers to offer individual attention to their students.
Our day is designed to provide both students and teachers with the opportunity to work together. This allows teachers to provide students individualized instruction, and it permits students and teachers to form close bonds. When students apply to college, teachers can write truly personalized letters of recommendation based on their detailed knowledge of a student’s particular strengths. From the list of college acceptances you will see that our alumni have been accepted to some of the finest colleges and universities in the country. A perusal of our ideal student profile will reveal that in addition to producing students intellectually prepared for the next phase of their lives, we are committed to instilling in our students a strong sense of ethical and moral values through study of Torah and a commitment to the Jewish values of tzedakah (charity) and tikkun olam (saving the world). We know we are successful at instilling a strong Jewish identity in our students because as they return from their respective colleges they report on their new affiliations with Hillel and other Jewish organizations on campus. From our curriculum guide, you will see that students in our high school have an incredible array of electives and extracurricular activities to choose from. Our athletic department offers nine sports. We offer an impressive selection of electives. During past semesters, we have offered classes in Spanish, Forensic Science, SAT Prep, Anatomy and Physiology, Computer Programming, Drama, and Theater Production.
We offer a truly amazing art program, and we encourage you to visit the high school to see the incredible, student-created art we have hanging in our halls. After taking the time to get to know our high school through our website, I would invite you to contact us if you have any questions regarding what you have learned.Yours truly
